How taking notes and keeping a notepad handy can lead to creative Inspiration
"EVERY COMPOSER KNOWS THE ANGUISH AND DESPAIR OCCASIONED BY FORGETTING IDEAS WHICH ONE HAD NO TIME TO WRITE DOWN"
Having a notepad handy is a great way to keep your great ideas from escaping you. Everyone has had those moments when a great idea has come to them from out of nowhere, but then later, they fail to recall it. Writing down you thoughts and keeping them all in one place is a great way to keep your creative inspirations where you need them most.
Jot this Down…
Ever have a good idea just come up and slap you across the brain while you are busy with something else? An idea that makes you stop whatever it is you are doing and say “Woah! That’s a great flippin idea! I better remember that for later.”
Only later, when you are done working on your car or playing minesweeper, that great idea that once blew the top of your head off has suddenly evaporated into thin air like the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. You do your best to recall it and reel it in with your idea fishing pole but it eludes you like a clever catfish on the bottom of deep and muddy riverbed. Soon, you are forced to give up on this once great idea and merely wax poetic on what it could have been.
In order to preserve all these great inspirational thoughts that come to you out of the blue, you do not need that idea fishing pole, instead, what you need is a trusty notepad and pen that is in good working order. Having a notepad to jot all your thoughts down as they come to you can be a lifesaver and a way to help you preserve all your creative ideas in one tidy little place. Instead of running around trying to catch your muse, let your muse come to you and then grab it and put it down on paper before it flutters away like butterfly away from the clasp of a boisterous kitten. Once you get all these thoughts down and stored somewhere, either in a notebook or on a computer, then you can go back to them later and draw upon and finally find your muse.
